    Eyes Have Been Opened

We often hear the words 'you should think of the function of your domain and the buyer to which you will sell it to.' - and I knew this, but only until recently when I've been looking...

    Howdy

I'm fairly new to domaining, but I do feel I've grasped at least the basics. I hope to further my understanding here, and look forward to the journey! Enjoy the start to the weekend everyone :)

    Eyes Have Been Opened

Sure, here is the link I read (4 parts and this is the 4th, the other 3 are linked at the bottom of it) https://www.namepros.com/blog/how-to-perform-outbound-sales-with-mike-robertson-part-4-negotiating-and-closing.1129904/ For now what I do is simply take a word or words within my domain...

question Best place to buy old domain for cheap

In the filter I use a specific setting. I check the last 48 hours setting, so I only see domains that expire or have expired within the last 48 hours. I then show 200 results, exclude hyphens and numbers, only use a .com extension and of course us the keyword. Then in the results, I click TLDs...

I checked the figures in 2 sources, and so registered the name for a reg fee. Now time to give it a landing page and see if...

It's a hugely competitive set of keywords, but for a reg fee, I thought it was worth it considering the amount of monthly searches

advice What Am I Doing Wrong?

Thanks for the detailed response! I have heard from a few other people that .org tends to sell more easily than .net these days. But I hear you on .com being king. I have taken a huge step back and have stopped buying domains full stop, simply researching and studying when I have the time. I've...
