The UI is terrible, but the Facebook posts have nothing to do with that. It's just regular corporate fluff designed to solicit a few likes and clicks. Every company does it. Hardly a sign of "decline".

With difficulty 😀 I follow a similar system to what sites like Sedo and DNWE use, so I verify registration and then spot check ownership for new members. Where I can’t verify it, I ask for proof.

Personally I quite like refinancego.com and sendmycash.com. A large part of this is subjective. Brandable domains sell, and you should pursue that if you’re interested. Also consider listing a few on SquadHelp, as they give you feedback a lot faster than Brandbucket.
