Showcase Your Spanish Language Domains

At Namescon Godaddy / Afternic made a presentation about average sales price in each region. Latin America was shown as being one of the highest priced markets. That being said have a several good Spanish domains but are slow to sell.

I think the GTLD will eventually (very eventually) come to be mainstream. The problem right now is to how to market them. You really need to create a market to sell as they do not sell themselves like .COM do. Some are nicer then others but they will be slower sale vs. .COM

Yes I feel like a fool... I bought from the registrar some good names but they failed to explain to me the premium domains come with renewal rates 3 times the normal rate... Expensive lesson - in .com world this does not happen.

Insult to injury... Bought a premium domain in a new gtld now that renewal comes around renewal fee is 3 times normal fee as it is a "premium" name... Good name but not happy about this as this diminishes potential value.

I think that keyword domains in Spanish will have a high value as there is a large market and even with cTLD's in most countries end users still use .com domains. I have sold a few Spanish domains but it takes a while! Dolares is a great financial name so hopefully will sell well.

What's WRONG with NamePal?

I am using their multiple service drop catching service. The concept of bidding on multiple services for a domain is very valuable. Got a couple of easy EMDs and others that are valuable at drop prices for the specific service. If they would have to auction would expect to pay more then I did...

What's WRONG with NamePal?

Unfortunately their customer service may not be the best HOWEVER. I have been using them with good catch rates the last 45 days and gotten a lot of very good domains. Hang in there and push them for service, because they are able to get domains...
