I lost $5805usd through PayPal scam by Shane Bellone

On the bright side...there's one less scumbag in our business. "A snake may shed his skin, but he's still a snake underneath"

advice What Metrics Are Most Important To You When Purchasing A Domain Name?

Common sense! Can a real business put it to use?

I feel for the newbs! This is enough to blow their minds...and budget! Expect a lot of drops

information Guy Wants US$100 Million for TrumpDynasty.com

Yikes! Does that mean CRAP.com and SHIT.com are now worth $100 million? The opinions expressed here are that of me and not NamePros

Expected future of 4LLLL .com domains.

https://www.namepros.com/members/mwzd.46869/ Indeed! But there was a time when the market dropped! Do you remember the 4L countdown? It was at a high, then it dropped to a low, I dumped many of them for peanuts when the bottom fell out that would have sold for $xxx today! Ya gotta know when to...

    advice Accuracy of Sedo.us

While Sedo's estimate may not be accurate, it is another metric to take into consideration. After all, if you're going to take a look at Estibot why not add Sedo's number into the mix along with any other estimates. It's at least a starting point. After that, get down to some serious homework...

discuss Your reg. of the day

I usually don't get into "Fad" domains, but after watching the American inauguration today, I regged these 2 domains: MelaniasOutfit.com TrumpetteGazette.com They're for sale...by the way

    Autonomous & Driverless car domains

    Self-DrivingInsanity.com...oh, wait...that's domaining!

new gtlds Mike Mann: “Read my lips gTLDs are D*E*A*D, absolutely no demand!”

I believe money is to be had with gTLDs, but it's not where I wish to dine. Thank you very much, but I'll stick to my usual order...give me another dotCom

discuss Saying this again..lots of money in hand regs!

I don't often hand reg much, but I find it relaxing to search. My secret is to stick to a certain industry with each session. It keeps me focused, otherwise I end up liking stuff like "GiraffeEarInfections" or "GrandmasStinkyFeet". Over the years, I have found some gems. This method also helps...

    domain Foxcartoons.com

Good name, but I'd be concerned about copyright issues. Fox is a powerful media enterprise...even if the site was cartoons featuring foxes. IMHO

new gtlds Showcase your Religious domains

Almost forgot I had this one until I saw this thread: HolyWebsite.com I need to do something with it

    domain JUSTPREMIUMDOMAINS.COM

I would agree with the above responses, unless...you plan to develop it for your own portfolio. Now it has value! But if you're going to try and sell it to one of us, I might give you $75. Yet, I already have my domain name. Sell it to a newbie!

discuss What makes for a good brandable domain ? Showcase your brandables here

I don't know, people! Sure, some of you have great domain names, yet the brandable market is sending many domain investors down the wrong road. It reminds me of the 4L collapse, yet worse. We at least had a finalized number for 4 L's. Brandables are infinite

discuss Are brandables done for good?

My opinion: Yes, brandables is a tricky business, yet when a business needs a short memorable name...what's their choice?

    domain Foxcartoons.com

Since you already have the domain, I'd say run with it. If, and maybe if, Fox comes after you, they'll just send a Cease and Desist order to the Whois person of record. Worst case scenario is they could confiscate the domain. There would be no need for further litigation since you didn't harm...

@StickTool.Com LOL! Indeed...I've used my share!

discuss If a niche is trending - are you too late?

Back to the original question of this post. If a niche is trending, are you too late? No, I don't believe so. It's just going to be more difficult to stand above the stampede. Research, research and more research. Then make a smart decision. If it's a hot niche...micro niche and ride the wave

    domain Appraisal for unemployedentrepreneur.com

Good answers! I agree with Pierre, and also with Ategy.com. I'm so confused! As a domain, it's not worth much. Develop it into a "Work at Home" website and you might have something.

    domain Please give your opinion!

The name has value to a food blogger, one who specializes in desserts. Then again, food bloggers aren't big spenders when it comes to buying domains. They can hand reg a similar, and more appropriate domain. Sorry :( @Lysted makes some good points to heed. Good luck...ya win some and you lose some.
