new gtlds .store vs .shop which will you invest in more and why?
Currently "store" is preferred by some famous internet companies and people are becoming used to it, like "apple store", "windows store", "app store", "google store", etc. But "shop" is shorter (4 letters) and maybe easier for branding. Both have their potential customers I think.- Points: 5

Maybe it's due to the tradition. Lots of open source projects are using .org, e.g., most Linux/BSD distros. Also most official websites of programming languages are using .org domains, like Python, Ruby, R, etc (they are open source too). To me, .org means trustable, reliable and often...- Points: 4

Either one is good. Use the one you prefer as your homepage address and redirect the other one. Just as Facebooks.com redirects to Facebook.com, or the other way round as audiobook.com redirects to audiobooks.com.- Points: 3

There are too many extensions with similar meaning such as .tv, .sport(s), .music, .news, .today, .stream, .video, etc. Some of them have been available to the public while some are going to be released in the near future.
