What did YOU do before domaining?

I'm training to hopefully turn pro in my sport this year or next. Hopefully you'll all see me on TV some time in the future! Designing websites and tutoring advanced mathematics to make ends meet. Also got eight names on BrandBucket, so when those sell that'll be a great help financially.

poll WWW vs non-WWW - Which is better for new gTLDs?

It has been so prevalent that people perceive www as being a mandatory prefix of some kind, when it's just an arbitrary sub-domain. E.g. people linking to their Twitter account as '"]www.twitter.com/[username]' without the transfer protocol.

What is the best domain you recently own.

Physicle.com. I just loved how it's a homophone to 'physical'. I actually decided to develop it into a proper site. Feminyst.com and feminysm.com are also nice plays on 'feminist' and 'feminysm'.

What new gTLD domains have you registered?

Part of me wonders if the gTLD hype is genuine or if it's a ruse by the registrars to get people spending $1,000s on worthless domains. If domaining is digging for gold, the registrars are the smart ones selling picks and shovels.
