    AFAIK, exact match domains used to rank better before, but now google has changed it's algorithm and exact match domains do not affect ranking as much.

    Yes, but I've seen sites with "For Sale" sign. I think setting up a quick CMS with some simple content is similar to home staging :). Most of the time people see homes differently when they are staged...

    Don't count on it. Google is smart enough to see if a domain was dropped. You might still get traffic from the old links, but probably very little organic search traffic for the new site.

    Newb here... GD auction interface does not let you see how much domain was sold for at the end of auction unless you place a bid. I think some people does not bother keeping records and place a bid earlier just in case, mostly see the how much domains were sold for if they did not win.

    question Transfer of .name extensions

    Is subject possible? According to wikipedia, .name extesions are not transferable. This is the message from GoDaggy: "Domains with this extension aren’t transferable" If it's possible to tranfersuch extension, what reliable registrars support it? Thank you for your input.
