Which one? .org or .net.

If you're providing non-tech/non-business information (like a blog) I would go with the .org. If you're selling anything, go with the .net. If it feels funny at all to use the .org, go with the .net.

It hasn't been registered for years. It's been registered over the years. Usually, that means some knucklebrain registered it in 2004. It's a reg fee domain. I may be willing to pay more than a reg fee (for the tune of about $20), but it's still a pretty lousy domain for anyone but me...

I wouldn't market it to a restaurant and neither would I sell it for $xxx. That's a unique, high potential domain and personally I'd probably develop it. It doesn't need to be food related at all. At the very least, mid $x,xxx. Pretty sure you can get $xx,xxx eventually, though.
