They try to pretend MAGA is not the single biggest force in American politics (and world politics, one might argue). Faux News put out an article recently predicting Dems would kill it in the midterms because supposedly this ultra-biased poll showed that people care more about Federal-sponsored abortions than an extreme recession combined with rampant inflation (total BS). And then they push DeSantis as frontrunner, even though most conservatives want Trump, and they reportedly have totally banned the word "Trump" from their programming for over 100 days.

I thought it was funny when that MAGA.COM thread was posted and people thought it was over-priced. The domain is worth a million plus but most domainers are either not Americans or are out of touch, apparently.

Remember when the top 4 songs on ITunes were all named "Let's Go Brandon" from 3 different artists? Probably not, because they tried to cover it up after it came out. But Bryson still went platinum and might even still be the highest-paid artist to this day.

Meanwhile, country star John Rich posted his "anti-woke" single on Truth Social and instantly reached the #1 spot in Itunes. Most conservatives have never even logged into TS, but that is the kind of enthusiasm people have for Trump and MAGA. Any public figure aligns himself with MAGA and they are instantly the biggest celebrity in the world. How can anyone pretend that Trump or MAGA is irrelevant?

As you say, the arms dealer trafficked millions in weapons. Not someone we want to just release casually.

Besides that, there is a PA teacher with the same story as Griner who has been in a prison camp for years of 20g of weed, but nobody ever cared about that guy until this Griner thing popped off. I'd rather have the teacher back, and I feel like that would be an easier deal to make here. If Griner wasn't an LGBTQ icon I don't think the left (US or Canadian) would care so much about his release.

Not sure the current state of this whole clown show, but over the weekend Russia demanded another prisoner be released, a terrorist who is in German custody. The Germans refused. So this doesn't only involve the United States.

If you want to provide the fodder for me to exercise my passion of discussing politics, that is no sweat off my back.
