So I've had this long running saga with @namecheap support team. Namecheap redacts your whois information even if you disable/opt-out of their "Whoisguard" service which is the whois privacy protection from Namecheap.
The redaction is removed manually only after you contact the Namecheap domain support team ([email protected]). This means that, unless you manually have the redaction removed, domain whois information is not visible and hence we are not contactable by potential buyers.
The Namecheap support team has further confirmed that there is no way to opt-out of this stupidity and there isn't a self-serve way for customers to turn the redaction off. Please go ahead and check your domains and contact Namecheap for each domain that you want to remove the redaction.
