What does it mean in English? (Or supposed to)

the Chinese characters mean "real estate"

I think it is rather odd. Why mix English letters with non-Latin IDN?

Just because that might work for English, why assume that it works for Chinese? Right now, Chinese is so over-mined that many domainers are tacking on the character for 'network' (e.g. domainnameNetwork.com). There are other 'tack-ons' that can be used in Chinese, but I don't want to be seen as promoting such things here.

Tack-ons really reduce the value and makes the domain a 'brandable-only' IDN. Even that makes a whole lot more sense than an English letter. Don't you think?

Sorry, but mixing the English with a Chinese IDN doesn't make sense IMO

Some big Chinese site use English/Chinese combos, like Chinaren.com . Wouldn't go overboard regging these, but a few for a long term hold couldn't hurt . Haven't been to Asia in a few years, any big idn sites now ?

I'm also kinda "meh" towards the whole mixing characters thing, but I guess having a couple in the portfolio's not too bad.

mixed IDN's

My opinion is :

Since Google, Baidu and CCTV us 'tv' and 'tv' is on hundreds of millions of
Chinese pages....
It is likely for a while that 'tv' to right of the dot or to the left of the dot might work for branding but not for direct navigation....
