Hi,

Too may 404 errors..

I have a domain "Glycerin.in" parked at PARKED .com
This domain in particular used to get 5-7 unique hits a day when it was at sedo but after moving it to parked,i am getting a lot of 404 errors daily.Yesterday I got 404 errors 22 times for this domain.Apart from 404 the report shows 2-3 regular visits for this domain.
The name servers are okay and if I open the site for a test (I have done it only once...just to test) it is displayed correctly instead of a 404(Not Found) error.
I have no clue what's happening to this domain..

You aren't losing any revenue because of the 404's. Usually they occur because, in the past, the domain had backlinks to something other than the index page. What Parked does is serve up the index page for all those 404 connections. I'd trust Parked stats over Sedo's any time.

You should be able to add Flash into the Custom Content area (the bottom-left of the Domain Editor page). You will see the "Insert/edit Flash Movie" button there.
If you still have any question or comment, it is best to contact your Account Manager. He/she should be able to help you.

Any way to get Parked to reconsider...

I've previously applied to Parked a while back (month ago 30 domains) and was rejected. Does anyone know how I can get them to reconsider now that I have a bigger portfolio? It's still on the small side 90 domains, and I have an account with WhyPark (awesome site).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So Far My top 10 of newly registered domains listed between 04/01/10 and 04/14/10 (2 weeks)have performed thus.........

Visitors 127 Searches 184 Clicks 47

Remember these are Virgin registrations. With Sedo I got 0!
All natural traffic with no promotion whatsoever.

It's worthy of note that most of these domains are adult related too.

Perhaps not mega traffic compared to some peeps but I'm more than happy with Parked

Actually, I have had some drastic changes in clicks in the last week 7 to 10 days and would like to check with other members here or perhaps Sonny can comment...

In the past couple of months my average daily traffic has been around 1700+/- with an average clicks of 475 per day. But starting on April 10th clicks were cut to about 275 per day while traffic remain at the 1800 level. For the current period I see a similar trend. That is a 42% decrease in clickthroughs.

I was wondering if anyone knows if Parked has changed anything on their side, like changing how they count clicks, etc. Or if anything changed regarding their feed. This is a bit of a brutal chopping of clicks.

for some reason, parked.com will not approve me as a member. I am sure I have enough great domain names which I can park, it is more then 100 domain names.

Please let me know why i might have been rejected an approval with parked.com.

Actually i would like to tank to Parked.com for not aprooved me as a member, because i learned a lot of things like web development, seo, webhosting...affiliate..cpc..link exchange... And i think now my domains earn more and worth more.

Has anyone else experienced a dramatic drop off on clicks and a dramatic increase in the RPC since 9/4? Leaving things about the same in overall revenue. It's very marked in my account. Is there any reason for it?

Definitely, I've noticed an increase in RPC!

I've had some of the highest RPC's that I've ever had at Parked.com lately.

by dramatic, I mean about 2-2.5 times the RPC what I was getting before the 10th? My clicks have dropped a similar amount, so my revenue is about the same. Just wondered if this was system-wide.
