Yes but you should remember that register .com has 35$ as renewal fee....!! so you will pay a lot when this year passes. Moreover i think you can not transfer your domain from register.com without paying(not sure for this). So here is the catch of this offer!

Wow! Thanks for letting us know! I was going to register a really good .com but stopped at the billing info. I don't think I'd pay a $35 renewal...

Terrible link, gave the site all my info, then it doesn't allow you to have it free at all, but rather charges you for something they are advertising as free.

Wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

Complete waste of time.

I went to the link, registered, selected a name, registered, checked out, no problems. Register.com tried to add $9/yr private registration. I just removed the option, and the checkout was free. Its free until next year, but after 60 days, I'll be moving it to my registrar to avoid the $35 renewal.

Worked just fine, except I was searching a few domains and didn't realize @ checkout time all the domains that I looked up that were available added to my list to purchase.. didn't even look twice and when I checked out it showed I had $140 dollars being taken out of my paypal, LOL.. nevertheless I instantly contacted customer support and they deleted/refunded it.
