AMA also stands for "Alleenstaande Minderjarige Asielzoeker", Dutch for "minor refugee without parents". They (the ama's) have special status in refugee law.

Dutch refugee lawyers might also be interested in it.

Nice domain. Good luck with your sale!

Nice Letters!

I would contact the American Medical Association to see if they are interested. The AMA Journal is HUGE.

Good Luck bro!

I PM'd you. I think the domain is hijacked. We agreed to him pushing the domain, then me paying by paypal (escrow.com 'took too long' for him). He pushed it, and I was about to send the payment until he made contradiction about how he got the name- he said he bought it a few months ago on a forum from a friend but whois history shows him getting it less than 30 days ago. So, I did more research.

Whois history shows previous owner less than a month ago with admin email contact @emcard.com, a domain thechem just acquired also either off drop or resale somewhere, and then set up an email account there to hijack ama.net that he saw used the same email account.

thechem says he bought the name on a forum from a friend months ago, but whois history shows the domain didn't change posession until less than 30 days ago, and there is no mention of ama.net on any forum (I did thorough searching "ama.net" everywhere)

I have asked him for simple statements or proof or anything about how he acquired the name and he refuses to say anything other than what was mentioned above. No link to the forum he bought it at? No person to say yes he got it legitimately from me? Immediately asking for the name back when I ask him these simple questions making sure it's clean?

thechem's trader rating is built up from a bunch of low dollar transactions and then all of a sudden he comes out with a couple high quality domains randomly. Sorry, but these things add up.

I will be super happy to pay the agreed amount instantly should he provide any real evidence of his legitimate ownership. I don't think returning a hijacked domain to a hijacker is the right thing to do either until this is cleared up.

I'd happily push the domain to an admin at NP until this is cleared up. I'd like to get out of the situation, but to do the right thing as well.

to summarize random things that add up: new member since june, 'sick brother needs money', 'escrow.com takes too long', 'paypal only', suspicious whois history for ama.net and emcard.com, lies about when acquired the name, asking for the name back immediately when questioned about it, refusing to provide any link to the 'forum' he got the name at, selling for $2000 when AMA.us sold for $5,000 not too long ago, etc. etc.

Simply clarify the things I brought up? Even if you had a NDA you could allude to some sort of evidence or address the questions I brought up?

I reiterate I will be happy to pay or push it back as soon as you provide satisfactory responses.

If the name is legitimately yours I'll complete our agreement and pay you or return the domain to you. Very simple.

"We're sorry, you have reached a number that has been disconnected..." but somehow I think you knew that :)

I've called the number from the link I provided.. he is seeing patients all day, but I left my number with the secretary. I will be happy if he sold you the name and gladly pay you or return the domain to you. Just tell us how you got it and it could all be faster!

Thanks for the info, I can see that, and how you just recently got emcard.com. That clue works against you...
Just tell us who you got it from instead of all this stuff you're telling us?
OK, enough asking you... I give up. I'll wait for admins/mods to come and see what they say.
