We need this one too guys :)

This guide will also help LLLL.com holders to understand more the value of their 4 letters .com based on how expensive the similar 3 letters .com are.

From:

http://3character.com/priceguide.html

Pricing Guide for 3-Letter (Composed Of Letters Only) Domains:

Current Observed Minimum Wholesale Price (regardless of letter combo) as of February 1, 2008:

3-Letter .com - $6700 (+ $300 since January 1, 2008 report)

But I consider their guide a bit old since they are not taking in consideration the emergenging countries that appreciate other letters and as we have run a poll here several times lately, the majority of people consider the letters U
and W to be Premium letters.

Let`s have a look at some recent LLL.com sales as reported from NameBio.com :

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
on another note, seems that BEZ.COM has been also snagged up by the warehousers at Tucows.

it's very sad to see that Frank Shilling lets clients like these use his platform. I guess he is happy about these companies building up portfolios without any rights whatsoever to them and effectively making unfair competition on all of us...

just sad.

tonecas

not so amazingly, Tucows is now listing BEZ.COM on SnapNames platform with a pre-bid of $17,650

how good this business is?! having NO risk and just picking the fruit with NO competition! :kickass:

unless it has escaped my monitorization,
another domain snag by the unfair competitors and warehousers at Enom.

SNX.COM was expired for that it seems by death of the owner. before it went to expired auction it was removed from the queue and it is now for sale by the Enom's warehousing arm Acquirethisname.com

until when will the community let yet this scheme run and realize the unfair competition being made on us all?

regards,
tonecas

and lo and behold, the name is parked at Internet Traffic and registered with GoDaddy...

there's no business like shaddy business :gl:

I had reported to the new owner, prior to them completing the purchase, that this domain had strange activity in the past 90 days. Unfortunately, I've been too busy to investigate. From a factual standpoint, the price does not fall along the going rate for 'random' letter LLL's.

There is also a non-reported sale, that of BRA.com for an unspecified amount, less than $19,000. The seller won't disclose.

Seen a real uptick in sales past 18 months especially 4nnnn and 3LLL low quality ones. On the 4nnnns 6 sales all above 15,000 usd and 3LLLs 5 sales all above 20,000 usd and one monster at 238,000usd but pronounceable 3 LLL.
Lot of interest from China.
Anyone else noticed an uptick - seems if if sales on namejet and godaddy also getting good prices on low quality LLL (I use low quality loosely as if it matches your acronym of your business its of the highest quality).

yes, for 4N and quality 3L.
I remember catching 4N domains with at least one digit 4 on 12/2010 for less than $400 at SEDO and on 2009 for less than $300. now you rarely can get them for less than $1,500 and most are selling for $2,000. one year back and they could be caught for $1,000.

sales of 4N at 15K? they were repeats right like 3337, or with at least two 8s, right?

and what was that sale of + $200K ?

tonecas

You are correct - had one at 90k two double nn to make the 4nnnn like 1122
The three letter was to a big US corporation - there was no NDA but I don't like reporting my sales specifically.
