Valuable ccTLDs. Buy them?

Hello guys!
A friend of mine, who is from Southeastern Europe, can register some really valuable domains for me, still left unregistered, from his country of origin. (When I say valuable I mean words LIKE casino, cars, three letters etc.)
I was wondering if domain extensions from Southeastern Europe countries have any value. I'm asking this because if I register any of these names I want to develop them for the worldwide market.
So, when you go to a website which has rich content, is written in English but it isn't a .com or even .biz but it is a small country's extension do you change your mind? Does this makes you go away? I hope you got me, for those who didn't please say it so, in order to make futher explanation. Many thanks again!

But I believe that some countries do not allow adult and gambling content on their domains... (don't remember which ones right now)...

And SEDO takes $150 as a minimum for foreign domains, so you must sell them for more than that to make any profit...

While I generally agree about the desirability of these top keywords in any TLD, you have to consider that there are some TLDs that charge prohibitively high reg fees, such as the .tm domain ($99/year, minimum 10 years). There are lots of great generic names for TLDs like these, but the high reg fee makes them next to impossible to resell.

That's an interesting strategy. But $100/yr. for all of those in ccTLDs can't make you money, can it?

buying them at 100$ per year is not worth. They can be purchased if their pricing is less than 50$. . But if you plan to develop, Its worth the 100$ , since it will surely sell for a lot more than that price.
