Major Problem

I just recently found out that you should not own trademarked domain names. However, yesterday, I bought one. The name I bought is http://www.segwayht.net/. I need to sell this name VERY quickly. What should I do? Would anyone be willing to buy it from me? Also, if I did get a C & D letter, would it cost me any money to transfer it to Segway LLC? Thanks in advanced!

its not a matter of owning a t/m'd name, but in how you use it. ( i think)

If you made it a site critiquing the vehicle itself, highlights and flaws... perhaps a users forums of some sort, you should be "clear" of any major issues.

look, dont worry. also dont attempt to sell it to anyone with the trademark, respond to any enquiry for you to sell it..
However, my guess is, as (in all due respect) you appear new to this game and the TM holder doesnt already own said domain, i guess its not that great a concern for them.

The problem (in the long run) concerning domains that are linked to TM's is that you can never make any money from them (unless you redirect hits for the period until they find you out to a web site that makes you cash).Avoid TM violations / cybersquats like the plague

...and then have TWO parties potentially upset with you - the TM owner and whomever you sell the domain name to.

Not a step in a good direction from a liability standpoint.

just develop the site, but completely different then there site, then try to sell it.
