Font color question

if you have red and black background, what would be the best font color that will match your background?

white.

if you can't read it with white text then you need a new background.

On black background light shades appear brighter. You may use White,lime,yellow,pink. All in light shades. Variations could be opted for hyperlinks,text,headers and such. Deep Red backgrounds are not ideally suited but depends on one's creativity.

Enter the color code and its corresponding opposites display as well....Plus if you go to their main page you can check out coloring schemes others have designed for free. But for what you asked something about a nice bright silver on red and black tends to work well together....not too dark and still not too light....
