A. That can happen with any name ... and only if the words are non-generic... the word 'on' and 'moible' is beyond trademarks as it makes different sense in combination with other words.
B. Our lawyers are not that sitting idle either. The nature of business is also an issue.
C. I have MyMusic.mobi where Mymusic is trademarked by four companies globally including us :blink:

onmobile is not generic when you combine the two words. Just like MySpace, it is the word MY and the word SPACE.

I think you will see a few 2 word combos as the one word generics become too expensive for the ordinary end user.

I went a slightly different route and picked up a few ---Via.mobi as I think that the more .mobi matures there wiil be few options that aren't covered so you can ShopVia.mobi and then PayVia.mobi .

You never know
