6 digit ICQ no

I got one (110007) for a gmail invitation a month back..

Someone will pay for the No because They r rare.. Search for a 6 digit ICQ number on Ebay and u will know...

The price increases as The number is easy to remember.
The number is rare
Its marks your presence on Internet was back.. I guess nowdays ICQ numbers are coming in 12 digits.. So its quite a old one..

They do have value........I bought 194 194 some time ago for about 20 bucks from memory and was offered $450 AUS for the number in March by a company here in Australia...with business increase in net customer interface 194 194 is much easier to remember than 14480225698 for example. Unfortunately, and be warned anybody buying 6 figure ICQ UIN, they are forever being hacked as they have good value. ICQ security and support are so very very terrible dont ever expect them to reset your account, they will only advise you to create a new one with 700 digits. I changed everthing with mine, emails, primary emails had rotating complex passwords and it was still hacked by some lovely russian chap. Your only choice is to get a hacker to get it back for you after you spent good money on it but thats just adding to the vicious circle because it is just going to go again. Normally they will wait after you buy it from them on eBay for about 3 months or so then all of sudden you can no longer log in with your password and the primary email is changed etc and they have taken it. Then it is resold. If you have a 6 digit hold on tight to it...if you have a 6 digit that repeats in some way ie 194 194 or is a memorable number in some other way..hold on real tight as these guys search for these specifically and rip them out from under you.

Yes It sucks.. They are attacked many times..
See the reason is really simple.. I figured it out after my was attacked.

See the seller sells you the ICQ number. BUt what he has is the Number installed on his computer... Now u have changed the password and primary email address and everything. But U have not done is changed the preference to high security. This lets the previous owner to log in with previous password. He can then change the password and use it back..

To prevent this:
1 Do a fresh install of ICQ.
2 Change the security level to highest.
3 Make the password of 8 character and with combination of jj 22 _+@ .
4 Do not use the primary email address set for another use ( Better if u can remember the password well , dont have a primary email address)
