Thanks to @Lox we now know, that Microsoft owns the domain copilot .si

SI, clearly, stands for Super Intelligence in this case.

Do you own any .si domains?

I'll start with the one I have;

Roboter .si

How about you?

Elon was thinking about superintelligence long before anyone in the mainstream even understood where superintelligence was heading

He was deeply involved in the conversation around Nick Bostrom’s Superintelligence and even contributed to the book. Bostrom thanked him by name in…

People keep misunderstanding this. I CONTRIBUTED to Bostrom’s Superintelligence book and he thanks me by name in the foreword.

I was thinking about AI safety long before 2014.

Seeing all the news around SUPER INTELLIGENCE, SI & .SI I really feel that PREMIUM keywords .Si will soon be worth millions ... those of you who own any, don't sell cheap, hold on to it until a really good offer comes in 🚀🚀🚀

🚨 JUST IN: Elon Musk just announced he will be changing the name of SpaceXAI to SpaceXSI 🔥

“No more AI. SI. It’s better”

SUPER INTELLIGENCE IS TAKING OVER

I seriously underestimated the FOMO, the past few days have been crazy. I didn't for a minute assume that Trump's renaming of AI was a just covfefe moment, but I thought I had ample time to reprice my .si domains, so some buyers got absolute steals (2x$9k, 1x$4.5k) while I was traveling. One bigger sale thankfully, briefly negotiated, but I left a lot of money on the table with that one too because I was still living in the past (all sales are so far unreported).

I'm only taking offers from now on or at least for a while (thinking about anchor pricing though), but I had to disable the "contact owner" option on Spaceship landers that I use, you can probably guess why. Of course contacting the seller is easy anyway because of the public email, so you get these:

Wait, are you saying you sold 2 .si names at $9k and one at $4.5k?

Renaming Artificial Intelligence to Super Intelligence was the right move. Doomers have spent years poisoning the term "AI" with fear and dystopian fantasies. It carries too much baggage now.

Super Intelligence puts the focus back where it belongs: on ambition, progress, and…

There’s never been a wave of offers like this.
I raised the minimum offer to $5,000, yet the volume of offers barely dropped. It’s just a constant stream.
P.S. I haven’t sold a single domain yet.

I have never had so many offers before.
Cancelled all previous negotiations, prices have been updated.#superintelligence #si

What do you think is the benefit of listing a dictionary word as Premium on Atom for 25-30% commission? Do you believe there are businesses that are unsure what to name themselves and need a search discovery engine to come upon the word "molecule"?

Form my perspective Atom is a brandable marketplace. It surfaces names that businesses otherwise wouldn't think up on their own. Listing this word as Sapphire at 15% is much more reasonable and you're not limited by their pricing caps.

There are some gTLDs I do list on Atom - but those are gTLDs that are less well known by the public and need the extra marketing & awareness Atom may provide. But .si is getting tons of PR and I personally don't see the point of paying +10-15% commission unless I get something in return.

What is that something in this case from your perspective?

I respect your opinion. However, when a buyer looks at a domain name, they do not necessarily see its value in isolation. that domain name stands out more when placed alongside competing domain names. The buyer then views the name in relative terms.

That is a solid answer and I agree. It is one of the reasons I like .now - as it pops/reads well in comparison to lengthy/lengthier com mashups. the same may be the case for a dictionary .si (assuming the buyer is looking side by side)

That said there are not many (any?) end user buyers at the moment. However, perhaps if the .si pops when they are searching .com, they will consider it where prev they wouldn't even be aware of it.

Good food for thought and thanks for sharing your perspective

What Namegroove is saying is that the buyers of let's say Pocket.si are not using Atom's search to find Pocket.si.

They either type the name directly on their browser or they go through the registration path to find the lander or the listing.

Paying an extra 15% for nothing is just unintelligent.
