Every correction in this thread, the 1M+ user count, the "backed by law" marketing language, the fake reviews, now the Reddit handle, followed the same sequence. Get caught, concede the smallest piece that's undeniable, then move on as if the rest is settled.
That's not learning. Learning would mean catching this yourselves before members had to prove it with screenshots.
Nothing about the pattern is resolved by fixing what's already been caught. The license numbers, the real estate licensing question, the fake reviews, many questions are all still open.
A company whose entire pitch is "trust us with your money", dressed up in shiny Instagram graphics, doesn't get to treat each proven issue as a closed chapter while everything else quietly sits unanswered.
The bar for an escrow platform is set far higher than for some small boutique selling clothes online. Especially when you keep emphasizing that you're courting clients looking to move high-value items.
At this point the pattern itself is the red flag, not any one item in isolation.
