Bluehost/Hostmonster buyout

There's talk (and an apparent employee comfirmation) that Bluehost has been bought by EIG (Endurance International Group), which also owns brands like ipowerweb, powweb, ipage, fatcow, among many others. It looks like the budget shared hosting market is almost dominated by their hosting brands now.

I first heard about it back in November I think, when the deal took place AFAIK. In that sense it's not "news", but it has only recently been confirmed.

All of their brands compete amongst themselves, which some say is ingenious.

Endurance International gained three brands in the buy out, Bluehost, Hostmonster, and Fastdomain,
