Do you have WHM access? If so, restoring the backup is a pretty simple task. If you don't have WHM access just provide your host with the backup file and they can restore it pretty quickly.

You need to secure your passwords, change mysql password as well. Also most importantly do update your wordpress site as soon as they have launched the new version.
Making strong password and restricting access to the the important directories is a good way to protect your wordpress site.

Evemper how do you know that is all he needs, you haven't looked at it. For all you know, a developer planted a backdoor.

Yes, I know what he required, I was just suggesting him that he must do this to secure it for future attacks.

The last backup may include the hack/problem and likely at minimum the vulnerability.

Root cause analysis and fixing should be done prior to just restoring it.

You might have more luck getting hired, with a more professional attitude.

I have no trouble getting hired mate. I do have little patience for spammers though. But thank you for your opinion. I am hired because I am a highly experienced programmer, not because I kiss a** or hold people's hands. People hire me to fix code that crap coders write, not to give them hugs.

I didn't see his comments as spam. I saw him trying to be helpful. He didn't ask for the job. Evemper's advice is sound, even if not comprehensive. Was he even offering to fulfill the job request?

What I did see was you targeting him for some really bizarre reason instead of just offering your services. I don't think those kind of posts are necessary in these topics. Keep it professional.

Also, please don't PM me with insults again. You're not going to last very long around here based on your actions so far.
