Going through Expiredomains.net to scavenge left overs as is the habit of domainers with little funds.
I have noticed this phenomenon, whereby. A domain name with a seemingly promising prospect, good backlinks (including from .edu/.gov), high cpc is used for a totally unrelated niche from the domain name, for some unknown reasons the language of this websites when you check their archive/org snapshots is always chinese or Japanese.
Another peculiar attribute of these websites is that they are dropped after 1-2years. Apparently the juices have been sucked dry. No left overs
What could be the reason for this...? I am curious to find out why these people (they might not necessarily be Asians) do this.
