Has Yahoo done this in the past? All I can see them giving out (if they ever plan to give any bonus) is free advertising credits.

Holiday Bonus? I've never heard of Yahoo giving a bonus before. But I did get a shirt for my son today.

Some changes were made for the better with Yahoo effective sometime on Wednesday, I want to wait until tomorrow to see how the numbers look and then I will be able to let everybody know a little more.

Some people actually never saw their revenue go down based on the type of domains they had. Obviously some saw a big drop. The fix should resolve the ones that saw th big drop.

Can you give us some insight in regards to the diminishing revenue and traffic situation? Where it originates from, what causes it, etc. Has Yahoo shared anything with you that could help us to adapt and get things back to where it's more profitable for all of us?

IB - As my goofy message says above, I want to see what the numbers look like after they are finalized tomorrow before really explaining what was explained to me today. Kind of defeats the purpose of me saying this happened and the numbers should go up, but if they don't then it doesn't look good on me.

It was a bug, it affected almost everybody across the board, they claim it's fixed, let's see tomorrow.

Have you been logged in all day? ... if so, shutdown and reboot; powercycle (unplug, wait 30 seconds, plugin) your internet access device, such as cable modem.

Also, try closing all windows, and then flushing DNS ... Click on Start, then Run, and run ipconfig /flushdns

If still no good, close all windows, then click on Start and navigate to Accessories - click on Command Prompt ... then enter the following commands:

cd c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc
edit hosts
* add the following lines to hosts file:
69.46.226.22 parked.com
69.46.226.22 secure.parked.com
* Save file and exit editor
ipconfig /flushdns
exit

Then open a browser window to http://parked.com (without the www) and parked.com should come up normally. Be sure to erase the added lines in the hosts file after a few weeks, since IP addresses can and do change over time.

were the bots hitting you?

Saw very odd behavior on my 130 plus names.

I avg maybe 5 to 10 views a day and all of a sudden I got 90 views yesterday.

I am sure its the bots and got a whoping 2 clicks for a total 10 cents. Can't join in a beer with you guys, maybe a smoke lol.

My mobi names seemed it got the most views

I am just curious on this.

I don't know what I am doing wrong with parked but I am losing patience.

I don't know donny but based on being in here he is well liked.

Maybe I will PM him. I am changing a few sites around though.

I would email my rep but I get one sentence email and or questions not answered. Last email was a month ago and maybe shot him 3 emails in a 6 month period.

I don't know what to do. Want to stick this out, learn a few things but besides donny and this thread I don't see any customer service help or suggestions or advice. All I hear is things look great. Well, they don't look great. I know I have a lot of mobi stuff and other stuff and some porn

Guess I will revise couple sites, question myself, get frustrated and give up. That's to the point where I am at.

Call me mr clueless at parked.com I guess. Want to stay here.

Need help! Domain stats don't show.

Hi, everyone!

I am new to Parked.com. I was parking my domains with Sedo and decided to move them to Parked.com. However, after more than two days all my stats are still showing zero. I contacted Parked.com two days ago but didn't get any answer yet, so I decided to post the thread in this forum. I hope I'll get some help here from members.

Anyone noticed any change in RPC today? I actually hate to bring this up but I was hopeful of seeing better figures today. However, today my RPC has fallen even more. For example, my cash advance domain started off paying around $5, 2 weeks back and today hit $1.30 the lowest since the last 15 days. Home Loans fallen from $4 to 88 cents. Refinance from $5-8 is now 99 cents.

I just hope we don't reach a Sedo stage with 25 cents for finance domains. For most of my domains, I'm getting in high quality traffic (US/Canada) from the Top search engines. I'm not sure what better quality Yahoo could expect. I hope that they don't expect me to get the visitor personally to the advertisers office to sign up, to get a great Q score.

Donny, I know you've been working real hard to make things better. I sincerely appreciate your efforts in helping us. But could you throw some light on the exact ground reality? I mean, please be frank. Do you foresee the same trend for the future? Its important to know whats in store, to ensure better planning.

Luckily for me, my portfolios are spread over 3-4 parking companies and I'm not hit that hard. But it still hurts because Parked has such immense potential. I just hope that things get back to normal once again.

Varon here is my thoughts on RPC yahoo "fixed the bug" yesterday what we are seeing today is estimates and results from yesterday when the bug was still there. The estimates system for parked has been learning since the 24th on the bug rates and will need a few days to adjust back. I could be VERY wrong though. That is my optimistic thinking.

Thanks..troop... sounds encouraging. Actually Donny had mentioned that things would look better today. I guess he actually meant tomorrow, rather than today. I'm getting in traffic on some of my domains at $1.50/CPC to ensure the Q score stuff...lol...it sure hit me this time. Just broke even.
