How to Register an Expired Domain which is Not Available

I would like to acquire a domain name which expired on 2011-01-14.

Registrar is net4india.com.

But this domain is still not available.

Why is this happening, and how can I acquire it?

name.com's is cheaper. Or just wait for it to drop and register it later.

Some NP'rs also offer dropcatching services like 1rrr1 and a few others. Since its pay only if you get the domain, worth a try atleast. You should backorder with as many services as possible, will increase chances.
