Dear Domainer and Domain Investors
Am at a crossroad of making decisions about my domaining business journey and just thought to post this and hear from the wider community and share from your wealth of experiences.
My story:
A few years ago, I decided to put my 12+ experience in SEO, Digital Marketing and Web Design/Development to use in domain buy helping individuals, bloggers, startups find SEO rich Expired domains which eventually lead me to build a website where clients do consult me for deals.
I also listed some expired domains for SEO and sold some while eventually developed some to niche sites myself.
Now its been over a year have been much busy finding my foot on the next generation of the web known as Web3 which lead me to opt for building my skills more in Programming and finally am into Smart contract programming, found opportunities that most people and developers don't even know about this amazing next generation of the web called web3 yet (if you care to learn about it I will send you a 2hours+ video where I explained it in-depth and the opportunity for early adopters).
So, am launching a full-fledged free online course platform for programmers in web3 which is yet the first of its kind as students will also earn while learning with free web3/Blockchain/dApp development courses. This will surely be the next project to get 100%+ of my attention for the next phase of my life.
Thus, being at a crossroads of dropping my domaining biz and do away with the website and domain I used to do the biz.
But I love SEO (can't even drop that ever because it is useful even in the new project) and enjoyed my time SEO Domaining.
So, am like should I just hold on to the domain used and I may later still be back to invest some more in domain biz. Yet, am not sure when I will ever have the time to do my Expired Domains SEO research to keep the domain biz going because this new project is time consuming working on new programming projects and courses.
Should I just sell off the domain/website am using for the domain biz and move on based on offers that may be incoming (Meanwhile, I once listed the domain for sale and eventually withdrew it back again because I just love domaining as part of putting my SEO expertise to work and help others get quality SEO domains).
Or
I should just let it be maybe who knows I may still find domaining as a biz to re-add to my portfolio later in future.
Head-On:
I got an offer today on one of the domains I listed on the site which interestingly have developed a niche site that is now gaining organic traffic from Google because it's an evergreen niche with unique contents. Still contemplating if to sell it or not.
This was the reason for me to post this as am wonder if just close the chapter and sell off the domaining site domain or hold it while still getting offers once a while via the site I sell the expired domain (Usually custom offers that I do not even list, like someone requesting you help get an expired domain with good SEO in Health niche, Automobile niche and more...Then I had to go into research for such prospect either they will end up buying or not - a bit of distraction now that am not into the domaining thing fully like before)

Have you ever dropped domaining biz for another biz or niche or contemplated it? And why are you still in it or came back into domaining?

What do you suggest based on your experience of the same or similar crossroads?
Should I just sell off the domain/website am using for the domain biz and move on based on offers that may be incoming (Meanwhile, I once listed the domain for sale and eventually withdrew it back again because I just love domaining as part of putting my SEO expertise to work and help others get quality SEO domains).

And if I decide to eventually drop the domain am using for the domaining biz, what can you value it to worth as a domaininer to help me choose from offers to accept as minimum?
Am CONFUSED!
