I've been watching my site quite closely since I signed up.

I've noticed that at times my site will load incredibly slowly.

Looking at the server stats:

cpsrvd up
Server Load 38.91 (1 cpu)
Memory Used 72.7 %
Swap Used 13.32 %
Disk /dev/sda1 (/boot) 13 %
Disk /dev/sdb (/home2) 68 %
Disk /dev/sda3 (/) 97 %



The CPU usage quite often goes through the roof, and the memory gets quite high too.

Is there a reason for this that you know about? Will it stop anytime soon?

Also, whats on " /dev/sda3 "? When it fills up, will my account be affected?

We add hard disks when the space is used up as it goes.
We re-arrange accounts to use up space on the new disk.

Memory is high because it's a Linux system.
Please go read up on why.

CPU usage is high for a server, but upgrading involves pretty much downtime for everyone when the CPU is changed, and the kernel might reject it involving some more downtime.
Until we test a stable CPU with efficient power usage, we will not be upgrading.

Stability (compatibility issues) is much more critical on servers.
Unless it's absolutely necessary we will NOT be risking issues.

Since I do the Admin I think u are telling about button in a Topsite So basically It ate up All "10 GB" Bandwidth which is allocated to the site ? Why you didn't msg about this or left FTP access to fix this problem if there is a problem ? I was monitoring stats closely both on awstat and Analytics only miss for last 2 days.

We suspend sites to maintain integrity of other people's sites.

Regarding your professional opinion, a sudden surge of visitors maybe result in intense CPU usage.
If a user is found hogging more than half the CPU for more than 5 minutes (rough gauge), it will result in suspension.

Three possibilities :

1.) A very poor programmer wrote that.
2.) You did get visitors that weren't recorded.
3.) A search engine bot was being very aggressive.

See I am frustrated as hell. I have added one addon domain name and put on one forum on it back before 40 days and the very next day the addon domain name was no where to be found not even in control panel. I PMed you about it and there was no reply for one month. Again I PMed you 2 weeks ago and you didn't replied so I told you to just delete my addon domain names so that I can add it again. As they showed added and cannot be added again and were useless as were not accessible. You told me that they were removed and I can add it again. So I added it again and now today after 1 week when I have worked day and night for 2 of my sites and its marketing is going on the addon domain names i.e. zvun.com and vehg.com are not found and they are redirecting to my main domain name jayeshvasava.com

I am fed up of this kind of service as it is wasting all my work and now and then the domain names are just vanishing and then again I have to PM you and you reset it and I have to start all things again like uploading backups and database and adding them again.

If I am not able to use my addon domain names properly then what is the meaning of paying for addon domain names in your hosting package.

So I have to ask other people on board and they told me that the issue can be solved if the hosting provider recreates the account.
