Construct is a development studio geared for creating DirectX games and software in a WYSIWYG environment.

Construct is powerful and easy to use development software for both DirectX 9-based games and applications. It includes an event based system for defining how the game or application will behave, in a visual, human-readable way.

So if you have ever wanted to make some games and/or applications, this is the best way to do it, it is free, open source, easy to use since you don't need to know programming etc etc.
