REALLY good domain. I also really believe they got a great deal with the amount of traffic already coming to the domain.

The .NET space is looking more and more attractive every week. I been buying just about everything I can afford within the genre I work with. DotCom is king but someone has to be the Queen. :)

This is probably the most relevant domain for a .net. The DIY Network is huge!

Very good sale for diy.net!

Anyone knows about diy.com?

I thought that B&Q had bought that for a minute there... but then again I guess that they don't need it if they have DIY.com and DIY.co.uk anyway

This is not bad news for do-it-yourself.com... would it be wise to actively offer that name to the owners mentioned above or not? Domain gets around 12.500 uniques, and generates $550 revenue anually. I do not usually approach buyers but looking at the prices that are paid nowadays it might not be a bad move...

It might be worth a try, but to be honest I suspect that they wont want to market themselves other than in .NET because they will end up remembering diy.COM instead of their .NET address.

Well that's what would be in my mind if I was the purcahaser
