I couldn't access Bido.com and it show the following :

Thank you for your interest in joining Bido.
At this time, Bido is not available for your country.

I'm a legit customer which joined Bido since its launched..
But today, i couldn't even access into my account and got that notice on my browser.
I have some credits on my Bido account.
why they blocked my country IP ?

I have opened the support ticket to their CS.
let's see how they will handle this.

In fact, i can provide them whatever they need for verification.
why they never ask me first ? and just blocked it as their wish ?
I never did any wrong there.
I have heard a lot info that Indonesia is a fraud country..
but I AM NOT.
if they need my passport number i can provide.

I'm not there to do any fraud...
I'm a legit business owner in Indonesia and have a legit company.
very stress with them now...

Hope here got any Bido Staff see this thread

Cheers :)

@Hendri, @goldwinner - Bido has pulled out of Indonesia at this time. We will communicate about these things with you over our support desk.

Well, This decision is so disappointed for me and for every single domainers in Indonesia who has work so hard to sell their domains through your platform.
Since your side has decided to pull us out of your platform. And we're not going to fight against your policy. Can you exclude a certain domainers who has been signed up @Bido and do the necessary verification for us to re-join back ?
And if you are really wanna go as your decision, you can block the rest who really haven't sign up @Bido.

So this is mean you should do some White List and Black List.
- White List --> signed up already @Bido (let them re-join back & do some necessary verifications)
- Black List --> Who haven't join Bido then you can do as you wish to block them to join.

This seems is the fair play and the right practice.
Hope your side can re-consider my suggestion.

I also hope you can share the reason why Bido need to pull out Indonesia from this Industry with here every single domainers in NamePros so everybody can know about the reason.

Thanks & Warm Regards,
Hendri

Hi Hendri, thank you for the suggestion.
As you imagined, it was a decision due to the risk levels.

well, i have no comments anymore.
and don't just said "due to the risk level"...can you provide us any cases regarding your comment ?
your "due to the risk level" is point the WHOLE Indonesia.
not every person is bad you should know.
you can't just blocked the whole country.
for those who has signed up @Bido, they have been verified through Paypal/Credit Card.
so its mean SAFE..and the verification process is the way you need whatever business you are in.
Since we have been verified and thats mean we are VERIFIED.
what the thing you are scared with ?
Sedo, Afternic, Ebay & any other bigger company is more open.
Business is a RISK..but its the way how we make the risk small.
its not running from it.

Thanks,
Hendri

He said they would rather communicate through support desk. Try that.

.... I had so many problems selling pool cues to Indonesia that I had to stop doing business there too.

@MicroGuy

They had already sent me the notification via email before i sent this, pls refer to below :

Hello Hendri,

Unfortunately we will not be supporting Indonesian users anymore, sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. With that being said, we went ahead and canceled your remaining domains up on Bido. It is nothing you did on your end and there is no further verification that you need to send.

We do apologize for not being able to support any Indonesian users on Bido. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors and if you need anything further, do not hesitate to ask.

Means that they are not going to give us a chance anymore.

and not every Indonesian people is bad.
I did nothing wrong there.
not fair..
President Obama was studied in Indonesia for 4 Years (in Primary School) when he was a child.
He is the person who understand Indonesia more.

This is a pretty bold statement by Bido and I expect a negative response not just by Indonesian users. It concerns me that bido simply can seemingly take Indonesia off the map, just like that. I expected the response from bido to be a little more vague so maybe they have time to identify the source of the problem and ways to work around it. I have always endorsed bido.com and had good experiences there.. just a little surprised by this thread.

if they wanna ban Indonesian, they should did it from the beginnings.
and its not in the half way when we have spent alot of efforts on there than they just banned it.
its not the right practice in business.
I have always endorsed bido.com, but this time really disappointed me.
Luckily i have NamePros to share. if not, no one will know today's issue.

I just worry which country is the next target beside Indonesia.
they will ban it without any confirmation.
I will not ask any single cents for refund.
and i'm not going to ask what will happen to my votesforprofit credit earning.
its just a small amount for me.

Of course we will issue your Vote For Profits earnings, let us discuss over the proper channel, the support desk.

My advice: create a new account with another country using a proxy site.
Excluding a whole country and giving you no chance to prove that you're not a scammer is simply a discrimination.

that may be added another reason to ban .

use of proxy to access such sites is really risk wrt his own security

I think Bido has the right to change their terms. I can understand the frustration. If you have been supporting them from day #1 and now told your account is closed kinda sucks. I think they are choosing this method as it's easier to ban a whole country for risk instead of going one by one and saying your good or bad as then they will have people complaining why does so and so have an account from this country and I don't along with the time needed for a manual review. It's too bad the good guys get lumped in with the shitheads.

We had a growing problem, and that was the quickest solution to block the entire country. We are implementing better measures for a more robust and sustainable long term solution in order to deal with the core problem. For now, however, it is our position.

Maybe if he got his people to talk to Bido's people?

BTW: Who or what is BISO / BIDO / BIFO ?

When you are going into biz never be depending from one Company / Site !!!

If Sedo closes ... there would be some people crying, if Godaddy closes some people will cry,
... NamePros (yes i would be sad, but dont cry) ...

I DONT HAVE ACCOUNT ON BISO, and i dont know currently why should i have one there.

Next step... ban China... another 1.3 billion people off the map :O
I can understand the need for emergency, temporary measures but why not grandfather members in good standing that cause no trouble.

It's their business after all. They can do whatever they want with it.

Dude...you're so wrong, their business is supported by customers..WTF, i cant believe some of you guys have this mentality! |They should have issued a statement prior to this action. That's how grownups do business! It's not like we are kids, i get mad, take my toys and go home! IMHO this should lead to some drastic actions from customers.
P.S. i never used BIDO, and after reading this, never will

No, it really is their business and for that reason they can exclude individuals, regions, countries or continets, or whatever they feel like. (In certain countries they cannot exclude based on race, religion or sexual orientation. If you have deep pockets to hire lawyers, you may be able to do something with that...) Keeping out honest people is obviously not in their best interest. Hopefully they can come up with a solution to verify honest ones.
Regardless of what they do, they "should" at the very least practice open and honest communication with proper advance warning.
The region was NOT blocked because it had too many honest members...
