Well players need a retirement fund don't they

He has definitely done business with the wrong people. So much so that members of another domainer forum have labeled him a scammer. He offered some good domains on eBay a few months ago, but pulled the auctions. I was too afraid to make an offer because of the controversy. Now I'm glad I didn't. Those could have been stolen also.

I have no idea if the guy is a scammer or not, but it sounds to me like he was scammed himself.

I actually bought some "stolen property" some years back. When I found out what had happened, I contacted the police and they returned it to its rightful owner. I was only out a couple hundred bucks. Sucked to lose it, but oh well. Wasn't worth the aggrivation.

I can't imagine what I would've done if it was a six figure purchase, where I find out after the fact that what I bought was stolen, my money is long gone, etc.
