Out of all of the acronym/short/rare domain types. I would like to know which you would like to have most, if you could only register one.

Assume that all are premium letter acronyms or top quality, pronouncable, non-dictionary words.

L--L.com -- ex: A--Z.com
LL-L.com -- ex: AB-Z.com
L-LL.com -- ex: A-BC.com
5L.com -- ex: Ababo.com
L-L-L.com -- ex: A-B-O.com
LL--L.com -- ex: AB--Z.com
L--LL.com -- ex: A--BC.com
6L.com -- ex: Abooba.com

I left out 3L and 4L.coms because I'm sure most would choose those.

Please vote and let us know what you selected and why, if you care to.

Thanks
GG

Definitely L-L-L.com overall. It really depends on the exact letters and pronouncability of each group/combination though. But overall I think L-L-L.com would take the cake

I voted 6L ... just gut instinct.

5L example: yahoo
6L example: google

okay, that's just silly, I admit it.

More seriously - I'm looking at this as more of a "real life" practical perspective going forward - not a "woulda coulda shoulda", but a "probably gonna do a bit more of" - 5L quality pronounceables are already being mined heavily - I can buy good ones cheaply enough now on the aftermarket if they "speak" to me (ie, bought "buenu" on eBay a few days ago, didn't win the auction for "redzo" - wish I had, but okay, life goes on ...) And I will do my own mining for the few good ones left to reg but won't waste too much time with it while there are still many opportunities for really high-impact micro-poetry in the 6L domain.

These are really mostly "just for fun" projects though - not so much targeted investments for the near term - but might make sense to build a nice (and relatively small) portfolio of exceptionally high-quality brandables ... I can pay reg fees for 10 years, and still make a decent return if I sell a few to end users for reasonable "marketing budget" rates (ie mid $xxxx) sometime during that time. If that doesn't pan out - well - I can always use a few good domains for my own development and business ideas - that's why I got into domaining in the first place.

And I've already got a decent stash of L-L-L.com ...

I would take 5 letter hands down, I am domain collector not a sales and negotiation master, in fact I have zero talent in searching for people and convincing them to buy names.

So as for L-L-L.com it is great for someone with the skills to talk a company executive into purchasing the initials for their company in the guise of L-L-L.com

Then again someone with these skills could pretty much make anyone buy anything! Yes and there are people like that out there and on this forum I suppose

As for me and L-L-L.com, I think they are ugly as all hell and would never want to see one in my domain collection!

As for 5L, bad and average ones are horrible, Smooth ones with the 'wow' factor are adorable and I have quite a few LLLLL.com 5L in my collection, would have to say really good 5L are equal favorite to me as with 4L. I really really like them!

Some say but all L-L-L.com have already gone above reg fee in value, great, I have have LLLL.com anyway, don't need or want L-L-L.com

This is all personal bias of course, some people may find L-L-L.com a Picasso of domain names!

L-L-L for many reasons (all of them are stated in L-L-L's thread)

L-L-L.com first always :sold:

Then LLLLL.com brandables

They both serve different functions and are very good

There are far more endusers for L-L-L.com and btw, they come to you. :sold:

um... none of these I'm afraid.
If registering I'd rather go premium LLLL.net's, but I believe buying LLLL.com's is the best opportunity now.

out of that list L-L-L first, and 5 letter pronouncables a close second.

I like LLLLL.com but in this case I would go for L-L-L.com since this is the most liquid among other choices.

L-L-L.com's for sure then L-LL or LL-L if they are pronouncable such as D-OG or B-ED

5L because a good Brandable will be worth more than HYPE.

L-L-L.com because it's the only alternative to $xxxxx LLL.coms while there will not be enough companies to buy Brandable LLLLL.coms. They are just 5 letters. Why not CVCVCV.com? I don't see any difference in CVCVC.com and regfee CVCVCV.com

And BTW you can still register good pronoucable 5L.coms! They worth regfee.

Who says it's just companies that want 5 letter .coms, people collect them like trading cards. I have many and I assure you I am not a company. I had 3 on ebay auction finishing in the daytime us, they all sold for more than double reg fee, there goes your 'based on nothing' theory out the window!

No offence ergo, I enjoy your posts, but you have absolutely no idea about 5L. CVCVC is not what we are after!

5L.com if it makes something web2.0ish or pronounceable.

new products go on the market every minute of the day, they all need names, might as well make it something small, brandable and easy to remember.

L-L-L.com is garbage.
