Hey guys n girls

I'm running yet another logo contest!

This one should be interesting

I need a logo designed for a new Site called CarolinaFireRescue.com

Prize:
1st Place $35
2nd Place $10

Must have atleast 6 entries for second place to be given out and 4 participants for any prize to be given out.

Deadlines:

Rough Drafts Next Friday 3/13/09
and Final will be a few days following that let's say for right now 3/16/09

Good luck! And I will do my best to give feedback right away

Logo is to represent Fire Rescue

I'd like it to be very cool, very trendy and tough looking logo

Fire Rescue is about people who save lives, putting their life on the line to rescue people from fires, puting out fires, cutting people out of car wrecks, rescue people stranded on the water, or lost in the woods, or vehicles that have gone off cliffs, and providing medical rescue

I'm open to any ideas from a badge or shield style logo, to anything else you may come up with.

Will be used as a website logo, and possibly on shirts, and other stuff

This is wide open color and design wise

hmmm color is bland, font/txt layout is good

i'd play with the stuff in the center a bit more

Here's my entry, let me know what you think, this is also a draft, not the finished product but I wanted to see if I was going in the right direction.

Firefighter was done 100% by me, no clipart was involded in this design.

hmm that's kinda neat.. let me think it over... any other versions of it?

You might Want to make the F and R yellow or a diff color to make them stand out, and add a space between fire and rescue if you can.

Anxious to see what else u guys come up with based off my example

I can see designers points of view for an increase but money is a tight situation for everyone right now and in the end the OP gets to choose the amount. Please keep it out of the threads/namepros and look at all the aspects, it was only some inspiration.

Sorry but you need to pick a winner.

When opening a contest, you agree to the rules of this forum and it clearly states.

'If you run a design contest there, then there must always be a winner from within NamePros.'

Is their any design at all that gets your fancy?
Maybe you can work with a designer and figure something out or give more feedback...
