Added Advanced Domain Extension Prefix search for Marketplace

Today I manually compiled a prefix database list of all the top level domains and created individual prefix search options for them in the marketplace. Using the Advanced search feature buyers can now locate domains for sale in the marketplace by Extension (When applicable).

Furthermore, I have extended the title editing ability on all threads (except in high priced) to 30 days from creation date. This should allow you plenty of time to edit your sales threads in the marketplace & add the extension prefix so you can easily be found in advanced search from now on.

This search feature ONLY works in a sellers benefit if you select a prefix / extension to accompany your thread (when creating or editing).

I know it's not a perfect solution, but it should help buyers filter out any unwanted extensions and identify ONLY the ones they are interested in investing in easier.

Below is a short video overview of how to select your prefix / extension and how to use the Advanced search to find ONLY the extensions you are interested in buying.

If there are some popular top level or second level domain extensions not in the prefix list yet that you are trying to sell or buy. Please post them in this suggestions thread and I'll get them added to the prefix database as soon as I can for you.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Clap Clap Clap. :kickass:

I can imagine how tough it could be taking in the account the size of the database that NP has.

Good decisions there and I think people should take advantage of this feature to find potential buyers.

Good feature. Simple but targeted one.

Simple from users point of view but not that simple when you are dealing with a database of a forum like NamePros.

Thanks.
