Bido.com - Social Auction Platform

So what's the whole point of Bido? Self-labeled a "social" platform, I could get a bigger audience just running an auction thread on DNF or NamePros. Where does Bido find a reason for being?

Bido use to be quite social when they first started, but that initial excitement seems to have died out as they switched to something more sustainable by allowing multiple auctions to take place daily.

I've sold so far two domains on Bido, both of which were .cc domains for $xxx, both of which would of never sold on this forum for that much, if at all. Bido seems to be working for me so far for my .cc domains. I think Bido attracts buyers from all the domain forums, so it's a nice collective of possible bidders.

It took me a bit of work over time to submit the domains, wait for votes, set-up the auction times, publicize the auctions at NP & DNF (only one thread per day there), pick a you tube video to make the auction stickier, etc.

...and the traffic (and results) so far doesn't beat what I can get just by posting an auction thread on a domainer forum elsewhere.

What am I missing?

Regarding the bit of work you did, we try to build the platform to simplify those things. Verifications are done in bulk, and you can set your account to enable "autolist" which basically puts the auction setup step on autopilot. When your domains get enough votes, they get scheduled.

Thanks Bido! For taking care of my mistake, These guys are on the ball, will definatl keep using them. You guys are the best.

I won and paid for a domain on Bido 9 days ago but the seller still hasn't pushed it to my GoDaddy account. I gave them the push information clearly but still no response. What should I do?

(sorry if this topic has been addressed recently - I didn't see it on the last few pages)

Nem0 did you put in a support ticket at support.bido.com? Bido will help I am sure. They are usualy quick and efficent with any problems I have had.

BTW Nem0 wish I had the cash for that domain I contacted you about on the other auction site but it went a little higher than I could afford
