    guide End user demand

Introduction In the world of domain investing, we can sometimes get too caught up in how good a name sounds, without really thinking about the commercial viability and the probability of demand on a domain. Sometimes a domain name can look and sound great but may actually have very little if...

    discuss Social.media sold?

Looks like social.media is pending sale. Looks like Donuts themselves are the registrant and they're using DAN landers for their domains. What do you all think the price is? If any new gtld can reach 6 figures it is surely this one?

discuss Do you get buyer's remorse and start purging soon after?

So I've hit the 100+ domains mark several times and admittedly, upon looking at them from a rationale and objective point of view (as domains are subjective in nature) every few weeks, I just start purging like crazy....at times up to 50% of my portfolio! Not worth my time to list them anywhere...

discuss What are your "catchiest" domains?

I've been spending a little time reviewing the brand Catchy.com who advertises here on NamePros. They're headquartered in France and seem to have a good presentation. They say in their add; "catchy domains for lease" First off, what's a "catchy domain"? Hell if I know, but I know one when I see...

    discuss GolfDied.com...test before you buy?

This isn't the first time I've done this, but after two golf courses in my area closed in the last few months, I decided to write an obituary for golf. Just Google "is golf dead" if you want to read all about it. As it turns out golf is unquestionably a dying:xf.frown: sport/game. It's because...

    discuss Niche Domains and more

"Niche Defined"; 1. A Specialized Market 2. An area of the market specializing in one type of product or service. I know many of you buy domains randomly at auction and when domains are dropped, but that's just not my style. At least it doesn't fit my agenda. In business you can always be...

discuss Showcase your "VUI" or "Voice" domains

Voice as UI could be big. Millions use it everyday when they ask their Alexa or what not to do something. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voice_user_interface https://www.i-programmer.info/news/146-uiux/10488-the-state-of-voice-as-ui.html I think in the future we'll see more startups and...
