.mobi Need your opinion on what to sell/keep...

I would like to hold onto my .mobi's for awhile but I would also like to sell off a few more to help pay for investment. Then I will sit back and wait and develop a few. What would you do in my situation? Thank you in advance for your input.

Everything else and let the end users come to you. Just be sure to have compliant pages by August - either parking or minis. dotMobi has mentioned August as a deadline for compliance enforcement.

You shouldn't park it at all. I was just saying that in order for the name to remain online it will have to be dotMobi compliant. There are a few parking companies that are compliant. You should work to develop all your mobis.

My first try at a .mobi site crashed and burned. Mobilegreeting.mobi looks like crap and I'm going back to the drawing board to learn a little more before I start on the others. I was just hoping you were not implying that they were going to get jacked away from people for not developing them by August.

dotMobi is not going to take any names away from you. They will take them offline though. But, that is IF they can actually find the resources to enforce their stated standards.

Why don't you try magic.dir.mobi to build up some template pages while you work on your world domination plan? :p

Some nice names there inetanywhere!! I'd say it kinda depends on how much you need/want to raise, and on how many you plan to develop/sell. My thoughts would be that though maps is a good mobi application, I see this field really being dominated by Google, Mapquest, Yahoo, and a few other imbredded players in this field. So I'd keep a couple you have like skimaps, trailmaps, parkmaps, and maybe golfmap, as these are more specialized and can offer you a closed market so to speak when developed, and see what you can raise from the others. They may have a good chance to bring some nice return at this stage of .mobi, but maybe not so much so in the future for the reasons I noted above. Just a thought. GL with whatever you do. ..oh, and for RestaurantDelivery/ies, I think you should give them to me, just to show what a great guy you are!!! ..again, just a thought!

briefly: i would just bank away the LLL.mobi and see what they do in terms of appreciation as there is no need to develop

as far as your "maps" mobi i also have a bunch of "maps".mobi and i think this will be one of the best uses of the domain

maybe get going with mapquest or google maps and integrate maps into like maps of national parks or especially golf course maps which could be city maps with all the golf courses on them and/or actual golf course layouts

I like trailmap.mobi I think it could be useful for trail bikers or hikers.
You could post specialized maps of hiking areas around the USA.

I appreciate everyone's input. It seems that everyone thinks I should sit on the LLL's for awhile. I need to get a couple thousand dollars to pay off some debt I created buying all of these and would love more input on what I should sell now. I keep buying but I think lowestrates.mobi will be my last purchase for quite awhile. Time to start making a little money and devoloping. I will put a list in the marketplace soon and take some offers. Thanks again!

i am certain that one thing which will be big on mobi is comics especially since they are the right size for small screens and quick and easy reads for going or coming from work

Good idea but I purchased it with the intention of a Las Vegas site. The main strip in Las Vegas with all the new casino/hotels is known as "the strip". I'm sure there are other uses but that was my intention. Also purchased FremontStreet.mobi because it is the famous downtown Las Vegas street where all the old Vegas hotels are.
