I know there is a way to get Google to list all the specified extension sites relating to a particular key word but I cannot remember how to do this.

For example if I want to find all the dot info sites relating to the keyword "career".

Please can anyone help me with what to type into Google to achieve this?

Many thanks in advance.

Google "Advanced Search":

Find results >> related to all of the words >> "career"
Domain >> Return images from the site or domain >> ".info"

One result: http://www.belbin.info

There's proll'y other, more sophisticated ways to doing it, but that is how I've done it in the past. Excellent resource, IMHO. :)
Good Luck with your searches.

Many thanks - did what you said but probably not quite got it right as I ended up with a different result, but actually the result I was really wanting.

I really wanted to find all the dot info domain names with the word "career" in their name.

Looks like you type the following:

xxxx site:.ext

(where xxxx is the word and ext is the extension you are interested in ) into the search box and Google then comes up with all the sites. In this case 44,700 sites are listed for career and .info.

This seems to me to be a great tool - for example if you have a keyword with a less well known extension (let us say printer.cc) and you are looking for an end user, it would be much easier I think to sell it to someone already using a .cc extension name so you dont have to sell the concept of the extension to them. Doing this I now have 8580 results - surely I can find an end user amongst that lot!!!!!!!!!

Once again many thanks for your help.

Be sure to sign-in, and then use the "Domain Explorer" function.

That seems like a good tool for domainers. I'd be interested in trying something of a script.
