CSS help please

hello!

i'm working on a re-design of my site which can be found here: www.hmorton.net/new/
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/programming/99472-css-help-please.html

i dont know how to make the "container" fill the browser window. making the height 100% doesnt work if the contents is large.. any ideas?

also, i would like the "footer" to kind of stick 2px from the bottom of the page. so even if the contents of the page takes up like 30px in height, the footer will still be 2px from the base of the page. i hope that makes sense...

anyway, any help for these things or any advice on how to improve the CSS layout or anything else about the site would be greatly appreciated!

thanks,
-hazza.

this is a common problem... here is something that might help you:
http://veerle.duoh.com/comments.php?id=233_0_2_0_C
read it carefully. it explains the problem and also has a link to an article in A List Apart, and a javascript to fix the problem.

Hope this helps.
