![]() | dynamic last updated script? Hi, I'm new here, and I'm hoping all you wonderful experts out there can give me a few pointers. You never know, I might even be able to help at some point too! Well, to the jist of the matter. I would like to set up my site so that my 'ast updated' date can be read from a file so that I only have to type it in once instead of accross the whole site. Would there be any way of doing this? Thanks in advance |

![]() | S'ok, got it sorted. If you want to know what I did, i just wrote a wee javascript library in notepad: document.write("last updated 24.05.05") Saved it as update.js and then wrote a wee line of code in the web page pointing to the .js file: <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="update.js"></script> I know, it's a really simple thing but it might come in useful to someone someday. |
