Help with PHP/CSS editing

Guys

I have tweaked a PHP site provided for my good lady by editing various aspects of the script, but I'm a little nevous about trying to tweak the code relating to font size for H1,H2 header title. Is it safe for me to increase this from say 18px to 24 px without any problems or could I end up corrupting the script?

I've managed to replace some text and images with others within the template theme OK, although I can't remember now in what file the text was located
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/programming/432748-help-with-php-css-editing.html

I guess I have two questions then please. Can I tweak CSS code and where is the text for title on the main page normally located?

Thanks in anticipation

Changing a tiny thing in the CSS is extremely unlikely (/impossible) to affect any of the PHP.

And your second question. Just search around, try using a Find tool.

Remember CSS is very unpunishing, if it goes weird, change it back.

Ok Dan, thanks

I've edited HTML before, so I'm not completely ignorant, but these type of scripts/code just makes me nervous due to global effects etc. My lady would never forgive me if I screwed up the site I worked so hard to set up for

Cheers
