CSS Problem

I'm having a problem with the CSS design of this site, languageblog.org.

It is fine in IE but in Firefox at the bottom below the footer, there is a white gap, that gap should not be there, can anyone shed any light on the problem?

It doesn't seem to be there. Perhaps this is a problem only in certain Firefox versions? Or did you fix it?

Yea, I fixed, by putting a -10px bottom margin. Is that a good and proper way to fix it or more of a hack?
