This is a vital position to ensure new customers or returning customers are handled quickly and appropriately.

NOTE: Our support request volume is generally low. Therefore, our monthly payment may reflect a lower amount than perhaps other companies.

Job Description
- Handle sales questions, using information provided on our website. Thorough knowledge of our plans, infrastructure, details, and ordering system is a MUST. If you have questions, please ask one of our administrators

- Answer technical questions regarding a user's account, such as setting up accounts in WHM, add-on domains in CPanel, nameservers, etc.

- Respond to both Live and Email tickets efficiently and knowledgeably

- Respond appropriately to questions that you cannot answer (either assign to an administrator, or post an administrative request in the staff area)

- Communication with administration to update new sales, questions that cannot be answered.

- Create email tickets for users that have questions and will need updating later on. eg. if a enquiry was left on online chat, you create a ticket and update with a response once the job is done

- Know how to use WHM, CPanel in and out. Can perform account backups, account restores, mySQL imports, exports, and other technical skills. Know how to guide users in doing it if they want to learn as well
NOTE: ROOT LEVEL ACCESS WILL NOT BE GIVEN, THUS SUCH KNOWLEDGE IS NOT A REQUIREMENT. Questions requiring root level access can be assigned to one of our higher-level administrators.

- Performing third-party installations: such as vBulletin, IPB, forums, php scripts, cgi scripts, modifications or upgrades of web software. This is a task that you must be able to handle on your own, when requested by a customer, and knowing to use FTP in depth, and CHMOD is a definate requirement.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Important: You must not be affiliated with a competing hosting company, or have plans for building your own in the near future. If you owned one in the past, you must provide sufficient evidence that you have terminated all activities related to it.

- You must be fluent in English (mother tongue preferred); good grammar, punctuation and typing skills are also a strict requirement.

- You must have experience with customer service responses and requests, and know the appropriate way to deal with harder issues

- You must be trustworthy, honest, motivated, hard-working, reliable and possess good communication skills. If you don't have any one quality mentioned above, your application will not be considered.

- You must not work for the money, but work for the general good of the company; motivation is the key.

- You must be able to work 100% independently, without us having to monitor or check if you're doing the job.

- You may do other work on the computer having the live chat window minimized and answer only when customers may ask questions. However, you must be in the vincinity of the computer to attend all requests

- Work at least 3.5 to 5 hours per day (weekends included on Live chat during any of the following time blocks (set to 5 hr periods):

TIME BLOCK #1 --> 8 AM - 1 PM, Eastern Standard Time (EST, GMT-5) or EDT

TIME BLOCK #3--> 6 PM - 11PM Eastern Standard Time (EST, GMT-5) or EDT

SALARY

Around $15-25 USD/month via PayPal with bonuses for each time block.

NOTE #1: Payment will start at basic rate, and increase as progress improves. DO NOT COMMENT AT ANY TIME ABOUT PAYMENT. ANY COMMENTS WILL IMMEDIATELY CANCEL YOUR POSITION AND/OR YOU WILL BE REPORTED FOR NOT FOLLOWING THE THREAD RULES STATED ABOVE.

NOTE #2: Position is tentative, and we reserve the full right to cancel the position you were accepted for, should you fail to meet the above demands and agree to our terms 100%.

NOTE #3: Payment will only be made for sticking to the schedule, and at end of month [no cash advances]. Missed times will be asked to be compensated. If you know you can't stick fully to your assigned schedule during the week, please do not apply

Payment may be exchanged for any reseller plan up to the value of MAXPaw PLUS* 6 GB / 90 GB Reseller package [*not listed on website]. Reseller plan should only be used for personal use, and NOT to resell webhosting [unless permission is granted by our administration]

Different blocks are fine, and working beyond required hours will also be taken in consideration.

And yes, we'd like it to be everyday, but if you have specific circumstances every week, then you can let us know and we'll arrange for something
