Well, the -Africa does seem kinda redundant, but at least they put up a site. Never heard of a nyala before this thread, looks like a zebra deer combination. Some of them seem to be rare, so its a good think the biz didn't make it. What gets me are the people who get some sort of fixation, like bbqking, then try to reg every possible geo combination, bbqkingtexas, bbqkingfloridia, etc. Makes going through the drop list a pain.

The worse ones I have seen are the IDNs one. With many hyphens and non memorable characters. That I don't even pay attention.

I think the sales of IDN are dissapearing together because of what it is. Technically being horrible to type and not visually pleasing.

Punycode= horrendous.

Unicode = priceless.

Two different things. The best thing is, those ugly xn-- (in punycode) get a crapload of traffic (assuming quality keywords).

And IDN sales aren't going anywhere.

There's another one, but I think point is clear. This is just meant to not give anyone wrong information regarding different potential online investments. Yes, I have some IDNs. I also bought into the stock market when everyone told me not too. Both are working out just fine, and both receive negative comments even till today. The point is, there are two different versions of the same domain (punycode and unicode) and obviously people would be typing in (visually appealing) the unicode, which is where type-in traffic comes from.
