short one worders have been worth alot for ages...unlike 90% of LLLL.coms - the sale is not comparable other than it has four letters.

Saying its not an LLLL.com sale is just ridiculous. Granted it won't have much if any effect on non dictionaries, it is good to see names selling for high amounts, as others have pointed out, whats good for one name is good for the whole industry.

This sale also illustrates that high end user sales will not be affected by the current downturn in the world economy.

Luxury high end product, holidays, houses,artwork ,domain names etc will always remain relatively unaffected by economic factors- the users/buyers have more than enough assets to be unconcerned about world blips.

It's the midde of the road domain names, products, services, jobs etc that will suffer for the coming months. Watch the droplists for bargains as offloads soar.

I noticed that in these tough times a luxury apartment just sold in HK for $25 million

And yes Tell has four letters - the only relationship to llll.com
