FINALLY! I'm GoDaddy-free! YES!!

I just wanted to share with everyone that I have FINALLY transferred my last domain out of Godaddy and I am now totally Godaddy-free.

I'll never go back to them ever again. I will never have to have to put up with their annoying Checkout process again. I will never have to see that "*25 cent ICANN fee" notice again, and I will never have to see another dumb picture of the arrogant, wannabe-cool-going-through-a-mid-life-crisis-too-early Bob Parsons with his stupid earring ever again and will never have to see his usually not-very-pretty-but-supposed-to-be-a-beautiful-former-porn-star spokes models ever again.

I'm finally Godaddy-free and it feels great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :xf.love:

It's just NC and Fab from here on out for me.

BTW, no offense to all the WWD resellers out there. :)

LoL... I honestly dont think they are that bad. Good prices and 24 hour customer support - surely the checkout process isn't that bad? I ususally just fly through it.

You must have had a bad experience,
Sorry to see you go, I guess everyone's
experience differs.
Sorry to toot their horn but
I have always had a prompt response from support,
when I've needed them.
They have great deals. Even with the "*25 cent ICANN fee
The checkout process is about as many clicks
as anyone else's, they just have more ads.
I find it's all about navigation!

How long were you with them?

I do not have a problem with them but I do not register new names there anymore.

Godaddy Review

I've been with them for about five years now (after leaving netsol hell). I think that godaddy bends over backwards to bring its customers low prices and quality support. I doubt that I would ever leave them. Kudos to godaddy.

One more thing. I don't remember anyone complaining about all of those past godaddy loopholes that everyone seemed to take advantage of.

You're right. Although I do not buy many domains from others anymore, I should probably keep my account for that reason.

Too long. About 3.5 years.

Don't worry, you cannot sell me back on them. Like I said, it's fab and NC for me or here on out. I'm dead set on that.

Anything's better than netsol. Even 1and1 is better than netsol. LOL

When I try to reg domains there, it just let me log into my account again and again. This will let me lost the opportunity for good names.

Godaddy's ok. They're prices are ok, but can get better deals from Moniker.

I'll agree that I can't really handle PimpDaddy's picture with that dumb earring. Annoys the hell out of me...looks like an upscale drug peddler. But I'm not sure if thats reason enough for me to leave them, though i do plan to move all my names to moniker eventually...if they just give me the NP pricing on transfers, that is

People, I'm not saying this or any one of the other reasons is THE reason why I hate and left godaddy. I just mentioned some of those things for humor :) IN fact, there are other reasons I left GD that I did not mention. But no need to open up that can of worms again.

Lighten up, folks!

I was kidding too man...I would certainly not leave GD because of Pimp Daddy, there are other much bigger reasons to leave them besides his dumb earring.

Not sure why this is a big deal dude. Good if it makes you happy, but what youve said wouldnt make me leave godaddy unless it was hard to register names.

Except for one "issue" years ago, I've otherwise had no other problems with
Go Daddy. However, my personal risk threshold is low for them as compared
to others, mainly because of their policies.

Again, just a personal thing. Good for you to those who otherwise have good
experiences with them.

Oooo. I seemed to have struck a tender spot with some folks. LOL. Sorry.

You got that right. That's the can of worms I didn't want to open. :)

I still have one name there, because I just buy it from other members recently, need 60 days to transfer it to NC.

I am just about heading to transfer all my domain from moniker to godaddy :)

I came across this anti Godaddy website some time back...LOL. Some of the posters were ex-employees...

Godaddy is still ok for many people, just that they can't claim to have a large following of passionate supporters, unlike others with cult followings.
