low xxx?

Newbies should'nt really be appraising here..

Low x,xxx atleast. Its not only three letter .biz, but its also another name for 'girl', and a very popular one at that. I say low x,xxx only because the name doesn't really fit the extension (girl biz? naah...), but you could get more.

Other than the 'gal = girl' connotations, the letters are also very nice.

Btw, I saw Yes.biz on sale here at NP with a BIN of 6k

Yeah, Gal is usually a casual term for a woman or girl. (From Wikipedia.)

I will be happy if I can get low x,xxx for it. BTW, how low is "low"? :)

I would sell it if someone wants to get it for $1500. (Am I allow to say that in this section of the forum?)

We were all newbies when we started sashas, or were you any different? This is not the place to get professional appraisals. I think everyone knows that :)

Reseller pricing for a LLL biz is $75 according to the 3char guide, http://www.3character.com/priceguide.html But that is just for any LLL.

I think gal.biz is a beauty.

Enduser pricing is a different thing. Gal is popular generic keyword as been pointed out. Some of the recent "keyword" LLL.biz sales are,
lux.biz $660
dry.biz $1550
wap.biz $2000
(http://www.namebio.com)

Find the end user and get $xxxx! :) Good luck anthonysun!

its not that I'm not newbie (I still am one), but of late, I've seen way too many posts by misinformed people appraising names for much less than their value. There were a couple in which LLL.coms were appraised for 'high xxx', and that is peeving at times. Yes, this is not the place for professional appraisals, but people who just have 5 posts here and less than a week of domaining experience shouldn't be appraising but reading the appraisals.

Nothing against you man...just a pet peeve. I'm a newbie too (been just two months)..so don't mind

Don't worry,I don't mind this at all.

The first time I saw "GAL", I just take it as a pronounceable word but nothing else.
Now, I think your appraisal woule be better.

Well, domain fits with the extension if you see it some other way. :)

I would value this name as Mid $xxx, depending on the buyer

end user low to mid $xxxx

.biz domains dont do too well with resellers, but this one can easily get low to mid $xxx

I think there is a chance of selling in the range your looking for, though it would be a bit of cat and mouse to find the buyer.

Nice one

Suitable for an escort agency.

A wealthy call girl would do well to grab it.

I am in no rush to it sold. Since the domain is valuable, I have no problem kept renew it every year until it is sold.

How does a escort agency work and how can it help?

escorts would love GAL.biz for finding customers for their 'gals'.

here is more info from acronmy's , and your potential end users

the following are abbreviated as GAL (and think of .biz with it)

Gallon
Guardian ad Litem
galactose
Get A Life :)
Global Address List
Generic Array Logic
Gay and Lesbian
Grow and Learn :)
Galena, AK, USA (Airport Code) ....!
Guinea Airways, Ltd.

Escort agencies hire out girls to keep lonely men company...(you know)

They make a lot of money and girls doing biz (business) means only one thing in the UK at least.

In NYC city they say ' lookin' for a date' in London it's 'Lookin for bizniz'..luv.

I innocently found this out on frequent trips to NY.... staying around 42nd st

and around the train station at Kings cross London. (catching the train)

Of course its all Eastern European accents now.

Its a very good name Gal.biz must be worth $1,000s to the right end user.

Thanks Seeker and Vim. I might put this domain in the Domain Make Offer section for sell. Does anyone know if the three-letter .biz domain appreciate through time? I know three-Character .com domains do.

they do appreciate with time, although not as much as .com (the .biz extension has been very slow, and there is a possibility it might even die out in a few years)

thats a good one.
how exactly might it die out in a few years?
everybody is going to drop their premium .biz domains?

I think .biz will continue to be there since there are many sites using it already.

I just put Gal.biz along with many of my "premium" domains on the Offer page. Let's see if it can sold for good price.

Are there more appraisals?

I am placing this gem for sell right now (in the make offer section).

The LLL.biz market is relatively slow at the moment (but should pick up within the year's end, IMHO), hence currently you'd probably only get $150 max. for this.

Hence keep this, and wait until the market is picking up a bit and you'll hopefully get around $500 to a reseller (or find an end user at any point in time and sell for $x,xxx) :)

Thanks tristan. $150 is much less than what I paid for. Gal is not only LLL, it is a dictionary you know.
