Logo revision with Exceptional Flash header $65

I want a really cool flash header for my blog h-o-t-t-i-tude.com [remove dashes]. The header should be the exact same length but NOT as tall as it is now. I want this site to stand out, and people to remember it so the design should be exceptional.

The blog covers entertainment, celebrities, tv, electonics (mainly gadgets), deals, and hotties around the internet.

The logo and header should be sent seperately, but the header should have the logo on it. The logo can be found here...http://www.h-o-t-t-itude.com/images/auto_header.jpg

For the logo:

I like the idea of an equalizer that is a rating guage. I tried to capture that with the existing design, but it's just not that good. I need a good artist to come up with something really creative. Don't be limited to this though, use your imagination. I welcome changes to the original logo, but if you do change it needs to be exceptional.

For the header:

The header should work with the existing color scheme, and work well with the logo colors. However, if you create a logo in a different color that is extraodinarily great, I may be convinced to change the color scheme of the whole site.

Someone did a hollywood/entertainment header on another recent contest that was totally amazing!!! I want the header to be entertainment themed but the design should reflect a broader scope (electronics/gadgets, savings, hotties)

The design should be compelling but not too over the top. A blend of fun and professional. It should target college students and working professionals --men and women.

Please also provide a static image version of the flash header.

The contest ends Monday at 6 PM, but I reserve the right to end this earlier.

Your work must be 100% original --no copying will be tolerated.

I will retain 100% exclusive rights to the logo.

Please provide the image in and JPG, fireworks file, and the original photoshop design.

hey Edisonian, i'm working on the flash header now. I will have it completed within the next 30 minutes or so... about to eat and then apply the finishing touches

Yes, it was about your design. I love the rating symbol, and I would like to see a similar concept but with better font and an equalizer.

WOW! This is really great. You integrated all of the elements perfectly. The only thing I am stuck on is the font. It does not seem compelling enough. Note sure I like it so narrow, leaning back or the two lines above. The more I look at it the more I like it.

The header is outstanding. The flash is outstanding. I am not sure about the logo because of the things I mentioned.

any particular "kind" of font you would like? i thought you were fine with the logo when I first posted it which is why i posted it first to get your input before I moved over to flash.

do you want to stick with the plain type of font just something more bold?

I changed it to a slightly different font which is a little more bold and I did away with the back skew/slant.

*note: you may have to refresh the page once you're on it to see the change... sometimes even exit the browser as flash tends to save cookies.

Lot's of internal/contracted work here, also.
Beside, you (and my self, really) are amazed by sylense work, so...

Looks great.

I think this font is better. I like it the way you had it with only hot in different colors. The logo could be a little smalled to fit better in the white space in the center.

oops.. sorry, i was in a hurry this morning and accidentally colored the second t... I will make the revision and size it down a tad to fit the white space.

I absolutely love your logo, but it just did not work as a header and I don't have a splash page. I wish there was some other way I could use it. I will give it some thought.

Yes, I know... I tried hundreds of times to incorporate the orange bars on the design but no matter what I achieved, the truth is the design kept always a busy pattern, so... my only option was to stop.
Oh... my brain was also getting hotter but that's ok. :D
